A return to normal—sort of

As I write this in early May, it’s been about a week since we publicly announced our plans to hold this year’s Compliance & Ethics Institute (CEI)—its 20th anniversary—as an in-person conference in September. But it will also mark something of an official relaunch of live conferences for us. And judging by the reactions I’ve seen on social media, it sounds like a lot of people are looking forward to it. The pandemic has been brutal, and many parts of the world are still suffering mightily. Here in the US, things are improving, but we’re not out of the woods entirely.
