Last month I wrote about managing new and changing risks in the face of crisis, specifically as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic. This month, while the effects of the virus continue as I write this column in late April, another possibility has emerged—whether some of the “temporary” changes made to get through this, or any, crisis actually reveal efficiencies or improvements that warrant making the change permanent.
