Do you know your organization’s employee turnover rate?

1 minute read

It’s not a bad idea for compliance officers to keep an eye on employee turnover rate. If you do not already know your organization’s employee turnover rate, now might be a good time to find out. I am often quite surprised when I find out. For example, one smaller rural hospital could have an employee turnover rate as high as 41% in one year. Another example: a 300-bed hospital could average a 13% employee turnover rate each year, which could be as many as 275 employees a year. Recently, I have seen employee turnover rates typically range from 9% to 15%.
