I’ve been to a lot of conferences over the last couple of years where one or more sessions were devoted to the value of whistleblowers, how hotlines should work, and related topics. And clearly there are some specific best and worst practices associated with creating an environment in which employees feel comfortable in bringing corruption, fraud, and compliance issues to the organization’s attention.
