Patient Privacy Court Case: July 2023

On April 6, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida granted preliminary approval of a settlement agreement[1] to resolve a class action lawsuit against Comprehensive Health Services LLC stemming from a data security incident that occurred in 2020 and affected over 106,000 individuals.[2] Comprehensive Health Services, a subsidiary of Acuity International, is a provider of workforce medical management support services for private companies and the U.S. government.
