Recently I was reading SCCE’s 2019 Cross-Industry Chief Compliance Officer and Staff Salary Surveys report,[1] which we released in November. We conduct these surveys every two years, one for SCCE and one for our healthcare division, HCCA. I was encouraged by the fact that the percentage of chief compliance officers (CCOs) who hold the CCEP certification rose from 23% in 2017 to 28% in 2019. Progress!
