New documents link Huawei to Iran and Syria

In a Jan. 8 report, Reuters detailed documents and connections that forge a stronger link between Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and two companies linked to business deals in Iran and Syria. The two companies, equipment seller Skycom Tech Co. Ltd. and shell company Canicula Holdings Ltd., may have been completely controlled by Huawei, according to the report, strengthening the case U.S. authorities have brought against Huawei CFO, Meng Wanzhou.
