US Trade Representative to investigate French tech tax

France unveiled a digital services tax on companies with annual global revenue of more than EUR 750 million. The 3% tax is expected to bring in as much as EUR 500 million if enacted. The tax passed the General Assembly and is currently being voted on by the French Senate.
