A report released Jan. 29 by Boston Consulting Group, Inc. highlights the conundrum at the heart of the transportation and logistics industry: a fundamental lack of trust between parties that prevents them from adopting a clear solution to the mistrust of blockchain technology. According to the report, almost 90 percent of those surveyed believe that blockchain will disrupt the industry, but more than 70 percent indicate they have explored the technology only superficially or not at all.
