ISO 20022 overhauls international payment system

ISO 20022,[1] created by ISO Technical Committee TC 68 Financial Services, is fast becoming the new standard for messaging services that facilitate payments. The standard allows for a flexible, common platform for data sets transmitted across borders, significantly enhancing the amount of relevant data each message can contain.
