CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) released its annual Global Supply Chain Report 2018, and the results look promising. According to the report, a total of 115 companies requested environmental information from their suppliers, an increase from just 19 companies in 2008. Additionally, “… over three quarters (76 percent) of suppliers responding to CDP identified some inherent climate change risks and just over half (52 percent) report that they have integrated climate change into their business strategy.”
